Conference Composing the New Carpet

On the 13th of March the Composing the New Carpet conference took place at Industriepark Kleefse Waard. At this conference the various designers involved in the project presented their preliminary results to a broad group of experts in the field of design and sustainability.

Composing the New Carpet  contributes towards the innovation capacity of carpet manufacturers, and acquaint them with the creative network and relevant knowledge institutes in the region. It will also offer designers (students and alumni) an opportunity to link their talents to concrete design issues in the business world, and acquaint them with the requirements, constraints and opportunities presented by circular production systems.
